Michelmersh Manor Farm launching new accommodation

Set in the heart of the Test Valley, Michelmersh Manor Farm is launching new self-catering accommodation that's perfect for pre-wedding getaways.

The family-run company has converted a 274-year-old barn into two units for guests to enjoy. The first has two en suite bedrooms and a downstairs toilet, while the other has a king-sized bed on the ground floor for those that can't manage the stairs and a double bedroom upstairs.

Both areas have fully equipped kitchens, wood-burners and cosy furniture. To create an even more fun experience, the company has provided puzzles, games, books and a leaflet of local walks available.

There's even a games room on-site with table tennis, snooker, table football and darts. Guests will love the animals on the farm with more than 300 cows, 100 sheep, chickens, guinea fowl, peacocks and horses.

The venue's owner Fran Drake says, "We hope to offer visitors the opportunity to enjoy the experience of farm life at its best. The historic barn has been in a state of disrepair for such a long time, and it will be wonderful to see it come alive once more. We look forward to welcoming visitors very soon."

Other on-site accommodation includes the Bluebells, Foxglove, The Manor and two shepherd huts.
