After several years in hibernation, the new owners of Hampshire's Steeple Court Manor are giving the purpose-built events marquee a fresh lease of life. A significant investment is being made to transform the marquee and its surroundings in readiness for weddings from May to October this year. Set in the grounds of the beautiful 17th-century manor house, alongside a field of vines, it provides a picture-perfect backdrop for standout wedding photos.

If you're looking for something out of the ordinary for your wedding celebration, check out Palais des Vaches, a new, arty venue set in the heart of the New Forest. Nestled between the Beaulieu River and The Solent, former farm buildings at Lower Exbury have been beautifully renovated to create a unique venue, full of authentic charm. The renovation began in January 2020, when Nick and Caroline de Rothschild started transforming what was once the old milking parlour, fondly known as the 'Cow Palace' built a century ago by Nick's grandfather, along with a derelict Victorian calf shed and run-down concrete yard.

New Forest venue the Balmer Lawn Hotel has launched a romantic Twilight package for couples looking for a chilled, intimate celebration. Couples can tie knot in the evening and celebrate afterwards with up to 50 guests. The package is available from Monday to Thursday and as well as the ceremony it includes the drinks reception and canapés, hot fork buffet or barbecue and DJ until midnight. General manager Michael Clitheroe says, "We have seen an increase in couples looking for a more intimate wedding experience and what better way to say, 'I do' than at twilight in the stunning New Forest!"

The Tank Museum in Bovington, Dorset hosted its first ever wedding last year. Rachel and Daniel Titley said 'I do' at the museum in front of a Second World War tank, earning themselves a place in the venue's history book. Their son Adam played an important role and was able to pick his favourite tank for them to say their vows in front of.
"When we heard couples could get married at The Tank Museum, knowing how much Adam loves it there, made the choice simple for us.," says Rachel.

If you're looking to celebrate the great outdoors on your big day, check out this exciting new venue. The team behind the recently relaunched Silent Woman Inn in the heart of Wareham Forest, has set up a new wedding and events space, showcasing two of Coastal Tents' giant tipis.
Operations director Rob Barr, explains, "With the last year impacting so many aspects of our lives, we have worked hard to provide a secure wedding and events venue along with a flexible system if couples do need to change dates."
