Shan Martin of Hampshire bridal boutique Little London Brides is excited for the year to come and sees a whole host of trends coming through.
She says: "There's nothing more exciting than choosing new dresses for our brides and the 2020 collections have not disappointed! There's no single consistent trend emerging, some designers, such as Atelier Pronovias, are continuing to push the boundaries with big bold statement bows and inspired sleeves. The jumpsuit also continues to appear and, most recently, shorts with a tulle overskirt."
The top trends for their new collections include:
Beading and sparkle Dando London has changed up its designs for 2020 with lots of beautiful hand beading, replacing lace appliqué. Atelier Pronovias hasn't let us down in the sparkle arena either. The Dancing Lights collection, combines Atelier's couture fabrics, stunningly simple silhouettes and fine lines with the ultimate glam and so tastefully done of course! Shimmering tulle is a popular choice too. Enzoani and Riki Dalal have used this to create subtle yet effective sparkle.

Bold lace and colour We favour the bold modern statement lace with use of different colour tones. Enzoani are continuing to use bold heavier patterns and layering contrasting lace. Riki Dalal love to test the boundaries and buck tradition, think nude andbeige undertones with a bold ivory lace.
Princess vs sexy senorita The most exciting trend we're seeing for 2020 is the overskirt! We're huge fans of having two looks, so if you can create this with one dress even better. Enzoani, Riki Dalal and Dando London all include overskirts in their new collections and this is a trend that we can only see growing. We have so many brides that can't decide between the princess bride and the sexy señorita look for their big day; the overskirt removes that dilemma! The trends for 2020 fit brilliantly with what we love; a modern, yet elegant look, with a twist. Psst... Look out for puffball sleeves next year too!
