Check out RNLI College's new wedding favours
RNLI College's new range of charity wedding favours is a meaningful and ethical way for couples to thank...
If spooks and the paranormal are your thing, a night at Nothe Fort, Weymouth offers plenty of thrills.
As well as a one-of-a-kind setting for weddings, the venue runs ghost tours for those who have the nerve to visit the narrow tunnels in the bowels of the historic sea fort and listen to eerie stories. Hen or stag events usually start at 7pm and end around 2.30am with a full programme of activities to keep you wide-eyed.
Strictly alcohol free, you can be sure of plenty of thrills with no hangover guaranteed! There's an introductory workshop and training in the equipment used for conducting experiments including meters to measure changes in frequency, thermometers, motion detectors, and devices to record spooky sounds. Ghost-hunters can bring their own digital cameras and night vision equipment too.
Built by the Victorians to protect Portland Harbour, it's perched on a promontroy overlooking the sea and is one of the best preserved forts of its kind.
