Once owned by Jane Austen’s brother Edward Austen Knight, Chawton House boasts a wealth of standout features, including panelled rooms, elegant. staircases, fabulous aspects, and stunning grounds.

Couples can host intimate and romantic ceremonies in the Oak Room or for grander weddings, say “I do” in the Great Hall with up to 70 loved ones before enjoying drinks receptions in the Old Kitchen and Courtyard. Situated in the parkland surrounding Chawton House, the 18th-century Dyers Barn can accommodate 100 people and provides a beautiful rustic setting for both ceremonies and receptions.

With 275 acres of grounds, beautiful terraces and a Walled Garden, there’s a wealth of fabulous photo opportunities both inside and out.
