Fresh from winning Taste Master at The Spirits Business' Gin Masters Awards 2021, having been awarded the world's best gin by a panel of independent judges who described the gin as simply "stunning", 2022 sees Elephant Gin offer stylish gifting options with a personalised dedication and miniature bottles (£5.90 per 50cl glass bottle), which are great as wedding favours.

Elephant Gin offers a gift that both tastes great and is one of a kind, 15% of the profit from each bottle also gives back to foundations that work to protect African elephants (they've raised nearly £1m to date).
Packaged in a high-quality and recyclable linen box, choose your favourite 500ml bottle of Elephant Gin, London Dry, Sloe, Navy Strength or Orange Cocoa, and whether you're picking out a gift for Father's Day, a best friend's birthday, or an upcoming wedding, just tailor your message to suit the occasion and the team at Elephant Gin will create a beautiful handwritten label to adorn your liquid (from £36.90). In time for Easter '22, Elephant Gin is also launching a new miniature tasting set with three 50ml bottles of Elephant gin, in aromatic Orange Cocoa (40%), classic London Dry (45%) and full-bodied Elephant Strength (57%), priced at £19.50.

Inspired by the African sundowner experience, Elephant Gin combines rare African botanicals with fresh apples and pure spring water to create handcrafted premium gins. This composition gives the gin a complex and strikingly mild bouquet with floral, fruity and spicy aromas.

Elephant Gin Founders, Tessa and Robin Gerlach, were inspired to create their range of premium gins following their adventures in Africa. They strongly believe that this generation has a responsibility to protect the future of African wildlife and are diligent in their approach to fundraising and working with conservationists to ensure meaningful change.

Elephant London Dry Gin (45%)
Elephant London Dry Gin owes its complex and remarkably mild bouquet to a composition of a total of 14 carefully selected herbs, roots and fruits, including African herbs such as buchu and baobob and fresh apples from northern Germany.

Elephant Strength Gin (57%)
The Elephant Strength Gin is an "overproof" variation of the award-winning Elephant London Dry Gin, with 57% alcohol and double the amount of ingredients but stronger and fuller-bodied than the original. A special focus on juniper, African buchu, orange peel and mountain pine give the gin a much more intense scent and taste, without neglecting the soft and balanced character of the London Dry Gin.

Elephant Orange Cocoa Gin (40%)
As an invigorating, citrus-fresh gin variation, the Elephant Orange Cocoa Gin (40%), a new addition to the portfolio, delights gin lovers with its aromatic complexity of sun-ripened Spanish organic oranges, fine organic orange peels and gently roasted cocoa beans. The recipe tastes full-bodied, textured and light, reminiscent of a hint of velvety soft orange chocolate.

Elephant Conservation Efforts
Every year more than 35,000 elephants are shamelessly killed because of uncontrolled ivory poaching; that is one every 15 minutes. Elephant Gin has made it a priority to contribute to the conservation and protection of these magnificent animals.

Elephant Gin donates 15% of its bottle profits to inspirational African elephant projects including East African anti-poaching organisation, Big Life Foundation; Elephant Gin and Space for Elephants’ own “The Wildlife Spirit” – an education centre in the South African Lebombo Mountains, focused on teaching local youth and adults about wildlife conservation and giving visitors the opportunity to learn about elephants and their importance to the ecosystem; as well as the Nairobi-based Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, known as the most successful orphan elephant rescue and rehabilitation program in the world.

Elephant Gin’s environmentally and socially conscious production methods and extraordinary quality standards have been honoured worldwide by the World Spirits Award and the Eco Excellence Award. Since 2019 Elephant Gin has been awarded the Butterfly Mark of the sustainability platform "Positive Luxury". The Butterfly Mark is awarded exclusively to luxury lifestyle brands in recognition of their commitment to creating a positive impact on our world.
