Dorset's Black Cow vodka has launched a limited edition gift pack with a re-usable gold straw for Christmas 2018.
In the face of mounting concern about the world's waste crisis and the amount of plastic straws discarded in the UK, as an alternative the company has included a reusable 24-carat gold-plated stainless steel straw with a 70cl bottle of Black Cow vodka in its new Christmas gift pack.
Black Cow is an award-winning, premium clear vodka made from the milk of grass-grazed cows. Founded in 2012 by dairy farmer Jason Barber and creative, Paul Archard, it's crafted at their distillery in the heart of West Dorset and is now available in 22 countries around the world.
Paul says, “Since Black Cow's inception we have consciously tried to create a sustainable, green working culture. Sustainability is always a major factor in design decisions. We use reusable or biodegradable consumables where we can such as straws, vessels, napkins etc. We have photovoltaic cells on our barn roofs at our distillery home in Childhay which feed our electricity use and we are always looking to improve our carbon footprint being economical with resources.”
You can buy the gift pack online at Black Cow, amazon.co.uk and in store at Harvey Nichols, Knightsbridge.
