Exchange vows at Palais des Vaches in Hampshire

Situated deep in the countryside, Palais des Vaches is a renovated art gallery that provides the ideal setting for weddings and events. The property is surrounded by rolling fields with views over Beaulieu River and the Solent to the Isle of Wight.

Inside the venue, the walls are packed full of artwork by local artists, making the property that extra bit special and so easy to fall in love with. The carefully designed venue has three large interconnecting interior rooms, which surround an enchanting Tuscan-style courtyard and large open garden.

Even though the venue doesn’t have a ceremony license, there are plenty of spaces for blessings with couples using indoor and outdoor areas as they please. The Cow Palace can accommodate approximately 120 people and features high ceilings, 100-year-old beams and magnificent artwork. Alternatively, the Goat Pen has been lovingly restored to create the perfect space for around 50 loved ones. With a window overlooking the beautiful landscape and doors leading out onto the private courtyard guarded by two grand lions, what’s not to love about this space? For smaller celebrations, The Monkey Room is perfect with comfortable sofas and chairs to allow guests to relax.

The courtyard is a statement in itself with gorgeous trees, handmade tables, carved-wooden gates, parasols and beautiful sculptures dotted mobile bars. The north facing lawn is ideal for marquee or outdoor ceremonies with approximately 120 people. It also provides the perfect location for outdoor games or play areas. Or why not opt for the Butterfly Meadow, a picture-perfect spot with breathtaking views? Please note, no structures or dining are allowed in this area and access is limited in
the evenings.
