UK-based independent jeweller Carrie Elizabeth has created a special collection with which she will donate 100% of the profits to mental health charity Mind. On the first day of sales alone, Carrie made approximately £2000 in profit to donate. This will be an ongoing donation as she produces more special pieces.

"We are extremely proud to be donating 100% of the profits made on this collection to the charity Mind. As someone who has personally suffered with anxiety in the past, I understand how important it is to have the right mental health support available to us. They do a fantastic job and we are very honoured to be able to support them with this collection," Carrie says.

It's in Carrie's passion for jewellery that you can understand why there is so much beauty and sentimentality behind all of her pieces. "Jewellery is meaningful," she says, "whether it's a gift from a loved one, or a self-gift for achieving a goal you have set yourself, the pieces of jewellery that we wear tell a story that is personal and unique to us. In this crazy world that we live in, life can often become overwhelming and it can be hard to take a step back."

"I wanted to design something that reminded each of us to pause, be in the moment and remember how special we are," Carrie says. "When I was young, I used to sit on my windowsill at night, breathing in the smell of the night air and looking up at the dark blue sky. It would make me feel happy and feel full of wonder looking out at the vast space above me full of twinkling stars."

Carrie has designed three beautiful pendants, each engraved with a stunning stargazing illustration and inspirational quote designed to ground us in times of trouble or unrest. "Choose the one that resonates most with you, and if you're ever feeling overwhelmed or anxious, use this as a tangible piece to hold on to and take a deep breath and allow yourself to come back to the moment."

Mind provide advice and support to help anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. They vow not to give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect. Every year one in four of us will experience a mental health issue and it's so important that no one has to go through this alone. Mind are there to listen, give support and advice to anyone who is struggling. "We hope in some small way our support can help Mind to continue to provide this," Carrie says.
