The boutique has been completely rebranded and as well as fabulous new luxe appeal, it now has its own bar to add to the experience! Owner Anneliese Ward has been at the helm for the past six years and has transformed the business into a destination hotspot for brides- to-be. First opened as a women's clothes shop 38 years ago, since Anneliese took over in October 2016, she has introduced a whole raft of improvements and now has three bridal fitting rooms, including a VIP one, and a mother-of-the-bride shop which was launched last April.

A big CWM high five to Dorset's Sarah Jane Bridal. Despite the recent tough times, owner Sarah Pardey has realised her dream of having her own bridal boutique and has celebrated the first anniversary of her new venture. Her love of all things bridal stems from 20 years' experience in the world of bridal hair and make-up. "I've always had an interest in wedding gowns and anything pretty, so when the opportunity arose to take over the shop it seemed like the perfect progression for me. I knew as soon as I stepped into the boutique that I wanted to do it," she explains. "During lockdown it was very challenging but I kept myself busy creating a strong presence on social media, liaising with my suppliers, creating eye-catching window displays and keeping in regular contact with my brides."

Southampton-based Olivia George bridal boutique has exciting new plans in the pipeline. From the end of 2021, the business is now focusing solely on plus-size bridal. Co-owner Carolyn Foster explains, "We already specialise in dresses up to size 28 and are now starting to phase out our smaller samples and will only stock dresses from size 14 up to 34. We're really excited about this, we already help lots of curvy brides to find their dream dress and our focus now is all about making sure we have plenty of styles available for then to try on."

Dorset's former Courtyard Bridal boutique has a new name and a new home. Owner Marie Bennett has rebranded the business and taken it back to its roots as The Bride's Wardrobe, the name she originally intended for it when she set up the company in 2016. She explains, "While shopping for my own wedding dress, I discovered a gorgeous little boutique up for sale, so I bought it lock, stock and barrel. As it was situated in a lovely courtyard I decided to keep the name and traded as Courtyard Bridal for almost six years."
