New-look Dorset wedding venue

If you're dreaming of tying the knot in a historic setting, check out Dorset's newly refurbished Eastbury Hotel, Sherborne.

Available for exclusive use for weddings the boutique hotel has 22 bedrooms and was recently acquired by renowned hoteliers Peter and Lana de Savary. Set within a walled garden it offers a warm inviting atmosphere with top-notch service.

The Grade II listed Georgian townhouse has been refurbished and restyled this year and includes the 2 AA Rosette Seasons Restaurant offering a blend of traditional and innovative cuisine.

Another exciting attraction, due to open in summer 2019, is the Hobbit House Spa, tucked away in a leafy corner of the garden as well as five new Potting Shed Garden Suites. The quirky spa building, designed to look like a Hobbit house complete with sedum and moss roof and a circular doorway, will offer two treatment rooms, including one for couples, a hydrotherapy pool, sauna and steam room, exercise area and private relaxation space; perfect for pre- or post-wedding pampering.
