Congratulations to Winchester-based Sass & Grace, winners of the Best Bridal Retailer title at The British Wedding Awards 2019.
The bridal boutique received the coveted award at a glittering ceremony in Central London at The Royal Horseguards Hotel. Now in its 11th year, The British Wedding Awards were created to champion excellence, celebrating all aspects of the wedding day.
Sass & Grace opened in rural Hampshire in January 2016, a new venture for owner Sam Walsh who left a busy career in the corporate world to pursue her passion to create the ultimate bridal boutique. Driven by a desire to ensure the bride has the best possible experience throughout her big-day journey, customer satisfaction is at the heart of the business.
Since opening three years ago, Sass & Grace has earned a number of major accolades, including Best British Newcomer award at the 2018 British Wedding Awards and Best Wedding Attire Supplier at the Hampshire Wedding Awards. Last year, the boutique was selected as the exclusive stockist for the luxury award-winning British bridal designer Sabina Motasem.
Located just outside East Stratton close to Winchester, within a beautifully converted and spacious barn, the tranquil setting offers brides a relaxed and welcoming environment. Special features include multi-functional lighting simulating how your dress can look both in daylight and for the evening do plus a 9ft peripheral-lit 360 degree mirror so you can admire your gown from every angle. It stocks a wide range of hand-picked designer wedding dresses from across the world reflecting all styles, shapes and budgets.
Celebrating the British Wedding Award win, Sam said, "We're thrilled to have won this national prestigious award and to be crowned Best Bridal Retailer in the UK! We would like to thank all our amazing brides who took the time to vote for us, it's thanks to them that we're winners!'
