Wedding venue of the week

If you're looking for a beautiful setting for an intimate wedding, Warmwell House in Dorset can be your very own home-from-home.

The historic house oozes character and charm with a Jacobean dining room and gallery, an oak-panelled library and elegant drawing room.

Perched at the end of a sweeping drive, while the outside of the house looks imposing, it has a warm inviting atmosphere that draws you in. Ideal for a house-party style celebration, there are eight luxurious bedrooms and a further four in White's Cottage in the grounds.

The setting offers breathtaking views across open countryside, with woodland areas, formal and walled gardens, so there's no shortage of fabulous photo opportunities.

You can tie the knot inside the house and take your pick from a number of licensed rooms or outside in the gardens under the loggia or at the pool pavilion.

Great for weddings large or small, you can host a wedding breakfast for up to 180 guests and reception for 200 loved ones. The drawing room and adjacent gallery can accommodate up to 90 guests or there's room for two marquees in the beautiful Square Garden.

The perfect place for a weekend-long celebration you can stay over and enjoy an al fresco brunch the morning after.

We love... the cosy shepherd huts in the grounds for a romantic wedding night stay.
