If you love animals, you'll go nuts for this amazing wedding venue. Not only can you tie the knot at Monkey World, you'll be spreading the joy by helping to raise funds for the care and rehabilitation of apes and monkeys in need around the world.
Set in 65 acres of Dorset countryside, it's home to more than 250 rescued monkeys and apes. Licensed for wedding ceremonies, you can tie the knot outside Bart's chimpanzee group enclosure, under a viewing window awning or in the The Watering Hole, a safari lodge-style building, joined by up to 80 family and friends. There's also a smaller function room for more intimate ceremonies.
The Watering Hole is located in the middle of the park and has large windows running along each side so your guests get a good view of the chimpanzees, woolly monkeys and marmosets. You can have your wedding buffet here afterwards but the park doesn't host evening receptions.
After the ceremony you can even take part in a scatter feed from the viewing tower; a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity as wedding couples are the only members of the public ever allowed to feed the chimpanzees.
