Ventnor Botanic Garden
Picture your perfect wedding in an exclusive sub-tropical garden paradise? At Ventnor Botanic Garden, dreams can come true. Set in the balmy southern side of the Isle of Wight, it’s home to more than 33,000 rare and exotic plants and trees. Covering the geographical regions of the world, from Australia and New Zealand, to Japan, the Mediterranean and more, you can marry here and have a wedding album like a travelogue – without the cost of the flights!
Indoor ceremonies are held in the Echium Room, a light and airy space which can hold up to 80 people seated or you can marry outside in the New Zealand Garden. The enclosed space was once a tennis lawn and now homes a charming hut with ample space for up to 100 ceremony guests. Complete with an outdoor bar and large, flat, grassed area, you can host a marquee reception for as many as 200 loved ones. For even larger weddings, the top lawn offers great views across the garden and enough space for up to 400 of your nearest and dearest.
Alternatively, you can celebrate in the Endulis restaurant, an elegant room set in the middle of the fountain area, surrounded by exotic plants. Perfect for pre- or post-vows drinks and great photos; with a marquee attached it can hold up to 120 people.
