Spring is here and so are we and we aren't going anywhere. While we're all having to make changes to the way we work, we're keeping our finger firmly on the pulse in order to report back to you with all the latest trends, bridal must-haves, regional venues fashion and more for all the weddings to come.
We've already enjoyed some lovely sunshine and warmer weather with plenty more to come, hopefully. While we're all stuck at home, now is the time to keep in touch and for all those couples who are having to reschedule their weddings as well as those just embarking on their big-day journey; we're here to showcase the wealth of local talent and wedding suppliers on your doorstep.
We’re staying positive, as always, we’re here to help with advice from local experts and a whole host of fresh ideas. This issue we're covering everything from a gallery of floral inspiration for all seasons on page 65 to what’s big in wedding catering on page 57, we’re on the case, helping you create your dream day.
Local creatives from around the region have also been busy pooling their talents to bring you themes, colour schemes and dreams covering everything from the traditional and romantic to the cool and unconventional, including an exotic Japanese-inspired spread on page 53. | |

Spotlight on Southampton |
|
Westgate Hall
If classic, historic and vintage style are on your wedding wish list, this waterfront treasure is sure to fit the bill. With vaulted ceilings and exposed beams, the recently restored Westgate Hall is a ceremony venue with a difference. Tucked away within the Medieval walls of Southampton, the 15th-century timber-framed building has a magical atmosphere. Dressed with roses tumbling from the beams, the first-floor ceremony room can accommodate up to 74 seated guests to watch you say ‘I do’. Post-vows, the ancient walls overlooking the water are a popular spot for standout photos.
