The Montagu Arms Hotel
Luxury and romance combine at this classic English country house hotel. Steeped in character and charm, the welcoming hotel offers comfort and style in stunning surroundings. The Arts & Crafts-style building features a formal open porch at the front and the traditional English garden includes a pond and fountain for those all-important photos. Set in the heart of the New Forest in the sleepy village of Beaulieu, surrounded by quaint cottages, free-roaming ponies and donkeys, you can be sure of an authentic experience here.
Ceremonies take place in the light and airy Oakwood Room, overlooking the garden, which seats up to 60 guests, or the Terrace Restaurant, joined by 90 loved ones. For intimate gatherings with up to 10 close friends and family, the original 17th-century Paris Room provides an elegant and cosy setting.
Receptions can be held in any of the three inviting spaces but for larger parties the restaurant benefits from large ornate windows, French doors opening on to the terrace and secluded gardens, and can host up to 150 guests for the evening do.
